he Opportunity
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Plans and directs the process for major bids (50ME+ TCV / Cross SBU Deals) and is responsible
for management of the entire bid lifecycle (End to end Engagement).
Contribute to deal shaping exercise, orchestrating winning sales plans, envisioning pursuit
storyboards, due diligence exercise and managing ensuing customer visits.
Ensure overall consistency of the bid strategy and anticipate critical success factors to maintain
a high Win to Bid ratio.
Direct and formalize bid process including budget, staffing and administration (from expression
of interest to submission, clarification, orals, sales to delivery handover).
Responsible for Bid Governance, Stakeholder management including communication with bid
related partners (sub-contractors) and third-party advisory.
Employ innovative strategies and best practices during the bid cycle to ensure competitive and
quality output of all proposals.
Accountable for overall quality and consistency of response to the client.
Identifies bid risks, manage escalation process and reporting along with Sales Management
team.
Ensure the consistent application of the “Company’s Bidding Guidelines” and Bid Management
Framework to the assigned pursuits.
Capture critical knowledge and experience in each deal and contribute towards
standardization/reuse in bid process.
Our Ideal Candidate
Personal Characteristics:
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics/traits:
15+ Years of experience with 10+ years of active experience with combination of Delivery/Account
Management/Bid management /Pre-sales.
Should have Technology and Delivery management experience with good handle on Account
Management.
Understands very well what “Client Centricity” means, same needs to get reflected in the deals and
pursuits.
Has experience in managing complex, multi-tower bids or bids with €50 million plus TCV.
Capability in client interfacing roles. Experience of interacting with Client Senior Management.
Highly credible with the ability to influence both internally with colleagues, and externally with clients.
Customer Focus and Experience: Instances of wowing the customer via proposal quality or customer
visits / interaction.
Personal Value Add: Instances of personal ability to challenge or influence BU stakeholders, sales,
solution, or commercial teams, going beyond the brief, displaying original thought to align with the
customer needs.
Proposal Quality: Ability to delivery proposals of exceptional quality that wow the customer, feedback
from customer/sales.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Determined and enthusiastic in bringing BU vision to life, takes pride in converting pursuits to a
